We don't always see what we think we see! For most people the dots in the image below will remain pink, if they follow movement of the rotating pink dot with their eyes.

If that works for you try staring at the black + in the center. The moving dot should appear green.

Then, really concentrate on the black +. After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see only one single green dot rotating.

It's all an illusion. The dot never turns green, and the pink dots never disappear.
